The gorgeous house in the Italian countryside where most of the action in the Oscar-nominated film Call Me By Your Name takes place is officially on the market for $2.1 million. The unique villa in Moscazzano, Italy, dates back to the 1500s, and is surrounded by a five-acre park. According to Elle Decor, the villa formerly served as a fortress before it was converted into a living space. It is 15,000 square feet and has vaulted, frescoed ceilings. The villa has eight bedrooms and seven bathrooms, and a massive kitchen with plenty of counter space. On the grounds there are two outbuildings. It is so beautiful that the film’s director, Luca Guadagnino, considered buying the home. He told The New York Times that he found the property “immediately beautiful and a little bit sad, even.”
