Actress Emma Watson was quick to respond to critics who called the former “Harry Potter” star and women’s advocate a hypocrite for displaying her cleavage in a recent Vanity Fair photo shoot.
“Feminism is about giving women choice. Feminism is not a stick with which to beat other women with. It’s about freedom. It’s about liberation. It’s about equality. It’s not — I really don’t know what my t— have to do with it,” the 26-year-old told Reuters.
Watson became a UN Women Goodwill Ambassador in 2014, working as an advocate who promotes gender equality and the empowerment of young women. She is also the star of the upcoming live-action remake of “Beauty and the Beast.”
