The new McLaren Senna is a supercar with the ultimate price tag: $1 million. Wired visited the Woking, UK factory where the Senna is produced to investigate the new car, which is designed both for F1 racing and for street driving. The Senna has a 4.0-liter V8 engine and weighs shockingly little at just 2,461 pounds. The car has been called bizarre, thanks to its prioritization of speed and efficiency over conventional aesthetics. The Senna will make its debut this week at the Geneva Motor Show. Despite its million dollar-price tag, the 500 Senna’s McLaren plans to make have all been sold.
