Under Canvas, Bryce Canyon, Utah
Home to 50 safari-style canvas tents on 750 secluded acres of high-mountain plains, Under Canvas Bryce Canyon will be the glamping company’s fourth location in Utah when it opens in July. Ideal for outdoor adventurers who don’t want to sacrifice comfort, this solar-powered camp is just 15 minutes from Bryce Canyon National Park and within striking distance to southwestern Utah’s various mountains and national monuments. After a day spent exploring, your spacious tent with its king bed, ensuite bathroom, West Elm furniture and wood-burning stove will serve as the perfect refuge. For something extra special, book a Stargazer tent which features a see-through ceiling above the bed so you can fall asleep beneath the stars. And if you’re in the mood to mingle, head to the lobby lounge tent, home to the camp’s food and beverage offerings and an expansive outdoor patio with fire pits and complimentary nightly s’mores.
The Ritz-Carlton New York, NoMad, NYC
Purpose-built from the ground up, The Ritz-Carlton New York, NoMad rises 40 stories from the corner of Broadway & 28th Street in NYC’s North of Madison Square Park neighborhood. Opening in July as one of the tallest buildings in the area, it’ll house 250 guest rooms with sweeping views of Big Apple landmarks like One World Trade Center, the Statue of Liberty and the Empire State Building. But perhaps the top draw, aside from the rooftop bar and 6,800-square-foot spa and fitness center, will be the hotel’s culinary and cocktail offerings overseen by Michelin-starred chef José Andrés. The centerpiece restaurants, bound to keep guests on-site and draw outsiders in, will include Zaytinya for a shared-plates menu of Turkish, Greek and Lebanese-inspired cuisine, and an outpost of Andrés’s acclaimed Bazaar. And should you feel so at home you never want to leave, the building also houses 16 Ritz-branded penthouse apartments perfect for a Manhattan pied-à-terre.

Canoe Place, Hampton Bays, Long Island
Opening this August, just in time for a final month of weekend trips to the Hamptons, Canoe Place Inn & Cottages sits on the site of the nation’s oldest inn. A Long Island landmark, the original location opened in 1707, was rebuilt in the 1920s after a fire, and sat vacant for the past 12 years. Now, the dilapidated structures have been painstakingly renewed and redesigned with the charm of the original inn infused with modern amenities. Situated on almost six landscaped acres complete with a heated pool, you’ll find 20 guest rooms, five guest cottages and a variety of communal spaces by Brooklyn-based design studio Workstead. When you’re hungry, check out the inn’s Good Ground Tavern from Relais & Chateaux Chef Ulfet Ralph for open fire-cooked, Mediterranean-inspired cuisine made with ingredients from local fishermen and farmers. And for a cocktail, visit the Library Bar, which features an original brick fireplace from the 1707 inn.
Conrad Los Angeles, Los Angeles
Housed within The Grand LA, the new Frank Gehry-designed multi-use downtown development of shopping, dining and residential living, Conrad Los Angeles will occupy 25 floors and offer 305 rooms with sweeping views of the city when it opens in July. Some of those rooms will offer head-on views of the world famous Walt Disney Concert Hall, another Frank Gehry creation, directly across the street. For the best vista, though, head to the 16,000-square-foot rooftop lounge. Here you’ll find a pool overlooking all of L.A. and the Latin-Asian fusion restaurant Agua Viva, one of two signature restaurants within the hotel from José Andrés. When it comes time to relax, pay a visit to the hotel’s expansive spa which features an extensive menu of classic treatments alongside next-gen wellness technology.

Backstage at The Verb, Boston
One of the most unique urban hotel offerings in recent memory, Backstage at The Verb is a collection of 10 custom-made, retro-inspired trailers positioned at the doorstep of Boston’s legendary Fenway Park. On the grounds of The Verb, a boutique hotel filled with rock-and-roll memorabilia, this hotel-within-a-hotel concept will share access to the property’s year-round heated pool and on-site restaurant. The Homestead, Nambiti, South Africa
If you’re ready to leave the country this summer and fly halfway around the world, try South Africa’s ultra-luxe, eco-conscious safari hotel, The Homestead. Located four hours from Johannesburg by car, it marks the last lodge allowed to be built on the Nambiti reserve — and therefore, will forever remain the area’s newest when it opens later this summer. With sustainability as its cornerstone, The Homestead is comprised of just 12 suites designed to blend into the environment and features safari drives in near-silent electric SUVs. And while many safari lodges stop at game drives to spot the famous Big 5 (lions, leopards, rhinoceroses, elephants and buffalo), The Homestead has created thoughtful additional programming like cooking classes with local ingredients, animal photography classes, guided hikes and visits with community elders.
