Late-night talk show host James Corden has fast become the king of web video, with his ultra-popular “carpool karaoke” sketches, which have recently featured the likes of First Lady Michelle Obama and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and most famously, Adele.
In Corden’s latest sketch, entitled “Long Story Short: The Well,” a group of Hollywood talent, consisting of comedian Thomas Lennon (Reno 911!), actor Jeff Goldblum, actor/director Paul Feig, actress Cheryl Hines (Curb Your Enthusiasm), comedian Mike Birbiglia (Don’t Think Twice), and comedian Keegan-Michael Key (Key and Peele), tells a completely improvised short story—with a catch, of course. Each storyteller only hears the last line from the person before him or her.
