Welcome to InsideHook’s Staff Picks, a compendium of all thing things our editors have been digging on recently.

Drunken Shot Glasses by Maz Amar
I recently visited Pioneertown, a Hollywood film set-cum-frontier tourist trap just outside of Joshua Tree National Park. It was there I discovered Maz Amar, a pottery shop bandying all manner of clay dish and vessel, including these “drunken” shot glasses, each one distinctive from the next thanks to their whimsical shapes and glazes. I recommend stopping by Pioneertown next time you’re in Southern California to pick some up; in lieu of that, you can order a set of six online for $45. — Walker Loetscher, Editor in Chief

Ebbets Field Flannels Kansas City Katz 1961 Baseball Cap
Get yourself a signature cap, for summer if nothing else. I’ve Pavlov’ed my friends into associating this Kansas City Katz hat with my lovable mug to the point where I get texts when my friends see it out in the wild, and I get jealous when I see other people wearing it. Consider my sharing it here my selfless act for the day. — Athena Wisotsky, Senior Editor

HemingWeigh Foam Exercise Mat
When you’re locked in a ruthless personal fitness war with a fellow IH staffer (stay tuned for a big reveal in May), everyday’s gotta be a gym day. “Eh, I’m on the road” or gym-closed-due-to-yet-another-April-snowstorm excuses need not apply. HemingWeigh does all things yoga, and they make a mean, thick mat, perfect for obliterating the core or keeping your back loose on whatever surface you might encounter.  — Tanner Garrity, Associate Editor

Flint and Tinder 10-Year Hoodie
$98 may be a bit steep for some for a hoodie, but given the fact that it comes with a 10-year warranty, that’s only $9.80 per year. Better than buying three or four lower quality ones over that same span. This guy is thick and rugged and meant to get better and softer with age. Plus it has a few hidden pockets and a heavy-duty zipper that’s sure not to stick. — Eli London, Director of Partnerships and User Acquisition

Cotopaxi Capitán Fleece
No matter how they’re styled, most fleeces have the same level of interestingness as filing taxes. Not so with Cotopaxi. The Capitán Fleece is an excellent option if you’re sold by the trend: two eye-pleasing colorways and a snug-as-a-bug-in-a-rug kind of texture unlike anything else out there. Contrasting colored buttons seal the deal. If you find yourself always looking for gear that “works in the mountains and the city,” as usually prescribed, this one’s for you. — Michael Nolledo, Deputy Editor/Chicago Editor

Vollebak Planet Earth Shirts
For larger outdoor gear makers, incremental innovations are the name of the game. Throw in redesigned pockets, some Dyneema, call it a day. Not so with Vollebak. Their latest offering is my favorite so far: a hardwearing, adventure-ready shirt that’s got the Indiana Jones look down pat with features to match — air vents, gadget loops, anti-mosquito collar, water-repellent and bacteria-resistant fabric, the works. — Alex Lauer, Associate Editor

Marshall Mid A.N.C. Headphones
While these are technically active noise-cancelling ‘phones, don’t expect complete silence from the real world here. These new Marshalls offer a subtler dampening of sounds, keeping out unnecessary noise but allowing you to stay present and not, say, walk into a stealthy car (not that I’ve ever done that). The strengths here? They look cool, run 30 hours on a charge (20 in ANC mode) and lack the bulk of other noise-free cans. (Don’t need the noise-cancelling part? Get an old Marshall Bluetooth pair for just $79.) — Kirk Miller, Managing Editor
