If you want to blow through a wad of cash buying presents for — let’s be honest — yourself this Friday, we’ve got a great guide for doing just that.
But if you’d rather leave the comfy confines of Amazon behind for a day you and your family will remember, listen up.
The Feds will be waiving entrance fees and offering plenty of no-fee activities at a raft of State and National Parks throughout the country this Friday.
According to The Manual and GearJunkie, here are all the State and National Parks with no entry fee: Alaska State Parks, Arizona State Parks, California State Parks (Redwoods), Colorado State Parks, Delaware State Parks, Georgia State Parks, Indiana State Parks, Kansas State Parks, Massachusetts State Parks, Minnesota State Parks, Missouri State Parks, the National Forest Foundation, the National Park Foundation, the National Park Service, New Mexico State Parks, New York State Parks, Oregon State Parks, Tennessee State Parks, Vermont State Parks and Washington National Parks.
The National Park Service has also created a friendly, searchable site to help you check on the Black Friday status of the park nearest you once you’ve gotten the gravy off your fingers.
If there isn’t one near you, go toss the pigskin in the backyard. Just remember to wait half an hour after eating.
