It starts at the brink. The wind is blowing in the mic and you’re looking down at a crowd waiting as Darren Berrecloth mounts his bike and fastens his helmet, which shakes the camera, jostling the POV. He pedals and you follow him over the ledge and down the lee, up a ridge and sailing over ledges and down crags all too narrow to be imaginable on foot let alone two wheels, and thought by the event organizers to be impassable. You gasp.
