Ford Bronco Is Coming Back Donald Trump's Attack Reveals

We’re as surprised as anyone, but it appears that some of Donald Trump’s rhetoric about Mexico is actually going to lead to something getting built — and it ain’t a wall.

After the Republican presidential candidate ripped Ford for moving jobs south of the border, the head of a Detroit auto union that has an agreement with the automaker to begin production on new trucks and SUVs fired back with a response that should make Bronco lovers very happy. While speaking with the Detroit Free Press about the notion of jobs leaving Michigan Assembly Plant for Mexico, UAW local 900 chairman Bill Johnson said Trump “needs to get his facts straight” and then dropped this tasty little nugget:

“We hate to see the products go to Mexico, but with the Ranger and the Bronco coming to Michigan Assembly, that absolutely secures the future for our people,” Johnson told the paper.

While Ford proper has yet to officially confirm the vehicle is back, all signs point to Michigan Assembly — which produced the SUV from 1966-1986 — churning out new Broncos by 2020.

And when that starts happening, it won’t matter who’s in office: America will be great again.
