Wake-Up Calls From The Rock? Shut Up and Take Our Money.

RockClock features aggressively early wake-up times, no snooze

Getting up is hard.

But it beats taking a tongue lashing from a 6′ 5”, 260-pound, half-Samoan, ex-Heavyweight Champion of the World.

In order to help regular guys and gals get up and after their goals every morning, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson came up with a free app called the RockClock featuring 25 alarm clock ringtones that were created by the 17-time WWE World Champ.

Some of them feature him playing guitar and singing. Badly. Also, there’s no snooze.

Users input a goal (losing weight, gaining muscle, etc.) into the app and then get a new message of encouragement from The Rock each morning. There’s also an option to sync your alarm with The Rock’s phone so that you are forced to get up when he does.

Fair warning: it’s typically 4 a.m. and “your candy ass probably ain’t ready for that kinda magical action,” The Rock cautions. “We’ll chase our greatness and kick some ass,” he says. “Or get our asses kicked. Either way, we’ll do it together.”

While Dwayne’s morning routine might be good for you, we don’t recommend adopting his 5,000-calories-a-day diet just yet.

You build to that.
