Hillary Clinton will release a tell-all book about the election called “What Happened,” her publisher revealed on Thursday.

“For the first time, Hillary Clinton reveals what she was thinking during one of the most controversial and unpredictable presidential elections in history,” the book description posted by Simon & Schuster states.

“In an intimate voice now free from the constraints of politics, Hillary tells the story of what it was like to be the first woman nominated for president in an election marked by rage, sexism, exhilarating highs and infuriating lows, kooky theatrics, Russian interference, a maddening inattention to serious issues, deplorable (yes, deplorable) bigotry, and an opponent who broke all the rules.”

The publisher also posted a teaser from Clinton’s introduction: “In the past, for reasons I try to explain, I’ve often felt I had to be careful in public, like I was up on a wire without a net. Now I’m letting my guard down.”

The 512-page book will be released on September 12.
