And they weren't the only ones

This week’s Saturday Night Live featured host Kim Kardashian West and musical guest Halsey — but they weren’t the only big names in the studio for the episode. Halsey was joined by Lindsey Buckingham for a performance of their song “Darling,” but Buckingham wasn’t the only surprise guest. A sketch parodying The Bachelorette featured cameo appearances from a host of celebrities — including Blake Griffin of the Brooklyn Nets and SNL alumnus Chris Rock.

The sketch found Kardashian West attempting to choose between an array of suitors, with her comments to them alluding to an escalating series of mishaps. “Your behavior at the luau barbecue was inexcusable,” she told him. “But you’re also a six-time NBA All-Star, and that intrigues me.”

As you look over the array of guest stars, you might also notice the presence of Kyle Mooney, playing a character even more awkward than those he usually plays on the show, among them. (Admittedly, this is something that the show itself has commented on.) But what stands out here is the extent to which Mooney doubles down on making his character bizarre, from cartoon voices to a headache-inducing necktie. It might not be the definitive sendup of reality television, but it’s an entertaining seven minutes nonetheless.
