Kevin Durant’s New Nikes Are Inspired by an Igloo

In which getting cold feet is a good thing

When Kevin Durant drained a three-pointer with 45.3 seconds left in Game 3 of the NBA Finals to put the proverbial nail in the Cavs’ coffin, he confirmed he has ice in his veins.

When Durant hits the floor next season, it seems he may also have ice in his feet: in the form of his latest Nike signature shoe, the Nike KD 10 Igloo.

Featuring a cool grey flyknit upper emblazoned with a light green Nike Swoosh and a similarly shaded Zoom air sole, igloo white tooling throughout the shoe completes the two-tone look.

Slated to be released for $150 on July 14th, the shoe should be a hot seller despite its name and colorway.

That said, it’d be a lot cooler if KD’s kicks still cost $88.
