Already NBA champs, the Golden State Warriors are also now the kings of bling.
Before opening their season against the Oklahoma City Thunder last night, the Warriors received their championship rings during a special ceremony.
Featuring 74 sapphires and 74 diamonds apiece to commemorate the 74 total wins the Warriors need to win the championship last season, the rings have reversible centers and are the first of their kind.

On either side of its face, the center section features the slogan “Strength in Numbers” as well as the Bay Bridge and the team’s “The Town” logo.

“It was cool,” Steph Curry said of the ring ceremony. “I was telling somebody, the third time around it’s still an amazing experience. You know what to expect a little bit, obviously with the surprise of the rings coming down from the ceiling, but you don’t want to let it go by without you really kind of embracing the moment and enjoying it.”

The Warriors will be going for their third straight championship this season, but you should be hoping they don’t get it.
