The Detroit Lions Are So Bad Even “Jeopardy” Is Ripping Them

The team came up in the category "Predictions by 2030" - and not in a good way.

Following a disheartening home loss on Thanksgiving that dropped them to 4-7 and out of playoff contention, the Detroit Lions were home licking their wounds.

On Monday night, Jeopardy threw some salt in ’em.

During the first round of play, the $600 clue in the category “Predictions by 2030” mocked the Lions’ long-running lack of success with winning the NFC North or a playoff game.

The clue was: “As of 2018, this NFC North team had never even made the Super Bowl, much less won it. But by 2030? Gotta happen, right?”

Respect to J; he nailed it.

Detroit is the only franchise to play in every season of the Super Bowl era to never make an appearance in the championship game.

That won’t change this year.
