According to multiple reports out of the United Kingdom, Danish pro golfer Thorbjørn Olesen was arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting a fellow passenger on his flight back from Tennessee after playing in the PGA Tour’s WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational in Memphis.

On the British Airways flight from Nashville to London, Olesen allegedly molested the woman while she was sleeping in first class and also peed in the aisle. The 29-year-old also stands accused of being verbally abusive to his fellow passengers and members of the crew.

At some point during the incident, British golfer Ian Poulter intervened and helped to calm Olesen down. But, after Poulter went to sleep, Olesen, 29, resumed his antics.

“He (Olesen) started abusing some of the passengers and crew and then made a pass at one of the female passengers before taking a leak in the aisle,” a witness on the flight told The Sun, “It was shocking behavior. You would expect it maybe on a budget airline but not in the first-class cabin on BA.’’

Though Olesen wasn’t named, Metropolitan Police confirmed a 29-year-old man was arrested at Heathrow on suspicion of sexual assault, being drunk on an aircraft and failing to comply with the orders of cabin crew.

Olesen finished 27th at the WGC-FedEx St. Jude tourney. He’s currently ranked 62nd in the World Golf Rankings.
