Watch These ‘Wakeskaters’ Shred a Wisconsin Cranberry Bog

Cranberry bogs are not usually viewed as cool or exciting, but this video might change that perception. Brian Grubb and Ben Horan traveled to Manitowish Waters, Wisconsin, for some wakeskating—a variant of wakeboarding, where riders are not strapped to their boards. Getting creative, the pair of athletes chose a cranberry bog as their makeshift arena.

Boy, are we glad they did, because cinematographers Ryan Taylor and Alex Horner made what could’ve been a mundane stunt, a treat for the eyes. Together, the riders and film crew take the banal cranberry bog and transform it into a piece of art dripping with adrenaline. Watch the clip, which might as well be an ad for Ocean Spray, below.
