On Black Friday, Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson will go head to head on the links in Las Vegas for $9 million.
And, if you’d be interested in winning slightly less than that from the confines of your couch wagering on the showdown, the odds – and prop bets – have been released.
Despite his poor showing at the Ryder Cup, Woods has opened as the favorite to knock off Mickelson in the desert and is listed at -200 on OddsShark. Mickelson is the ‘dog at +170.
In addition to making a head-to-head wager, you can also gamble on the color of Woods’ and Mickelson’s shirts.
For Mickelson the options are white (+150), black (+250) and blue (+400), whereas with Woods they are red (+300), white (+300), and black (+450).
On his blog for OddShark, handicapper Stephen Campbell gives his pick for who is going to win what’s being called “The Match.”
“While some bettors may think “The Match” is going to be a tight one, I think Tiger is going to win by a comfortable margin,” Campbell wrote. “While Woods didn’t have his best showing at the Ryder Cup, Mickelson was downright terrible in France. Woods also recently proved he can still win big tournaments by capturing the Tour Championship in September, while Mickelson can’t even come close to matching Tiger’s current form.”
