The four men who were responsible for the 2016 death of Olympian Tyson Gay’s daughter Trinity have been sentenced by a Kentucky court.

Chaz Taylor, D’Vonta Middlebrooks, D’Markeo Taylor, and Lamonte Williams all received some amount of jail time in the death of Trinity, who was shot and killed in the parking lot of a Cookout.

At the time of her death, Trinity, who was a budding track star just like her father was at her age,  was 15.

Taylor was sentenced to 20 years in prison for the wanton murder. Middlebrooks was sentenced to 15 years in prison. D’Markeo Taylor was sentenced to 15 months and five years probation. Williams received five years probation and one year in jail.

“I just hope something positive comes out of this situation,” Gay said in October after the men were found guilty. “I really believe our prosecutors did a great job. … I’m just glad it’s over. I’m proud that my daughter got some justice.”

He was a member of the 2008 and 2012 U.S. Olympic teams and a triple-gold medalist at the 2007 IAAF World Championships.
