According to what league sources have told ESPN, the three teams that have shown the most interest in wide receiver Antonio Brown to date are the Oakland Raiders, Washington Redskins, and Tennessee Titans.

So, which of those teams is the best fit for the disgruntled Steelers star?

Raiders: Jon Gruden has stripped the Raiders of most their talent since taking over in Oakland, so taking on Brown would be a clear reversal of that. Oakland has no deep threats on their roster and Brown and his baggage would fit in well with the Raiders and Gruden. He would also be a nice treat for Oakland fans to root for before they lose their team to Las Vegas in a year.

Redskins: “He scores touchdowns,” said Redskins reporter John Keim. “The Redskins lack players who do this with regularity. Redskins’ receivers ranked last in 2018 with 1,694 yards and 28th in yards after the catch (3.63). In the past six years, Brown has averaged 1,524 yards and 4.64 yards after the catch. Do the math. Brown fits in any offensive system that wants players who can make big plays. Brown wins fast at the line, and the Redskins like to use a lot of quick-game passing.”

Titans: Brown would be a big-play threat for the Titans, something they sorely lacked last season. This is a make-or-break year for quarterback Marcus Mariota, so giving him a target like Brown could be a good way to truly assess if the can be a franchise cornerstone going forward. Adding him would also push young receivers like Corey Davis and Taywan Taylor to elevate their games

Of course, it’s always possible Brown doesn’t play at all next season as he is talking like a man who doesn’t care much about the game of football.

“I don’t even need the game. You know what I’m saying?” Brown told ESPN over the weekend. “I don’t need to prove nothing to anyone. If they want to play, they’re going to play by my rules. If not, I don’t need to play. Obviously, I want the game, but I don’t need the game. There’s a difference, you know what I’m saying? I don’t need to play for no one like I’m happy. You see this is paid off cash, I don’t owe no one. I’m a millionaire, bro, I’m an entrepreneur, like I don’t have to prove no one anything. You know what I mean? I never quit or missed a game ever. Check my record, they know my background.”

Despite that, it’s still far more likely than not Brown will be suiting up for the Redskins, Raiders, Titans or a mystery team next season.
