After a full slate of games on Sunday, three of the four playoff series in the NBA’s Eastern Conference are even at 2-2.
The Bucks, Wizards and Cavaliers were all able to take care of business against their respective opponents – the Celtics, Raptors and Pacers – thanks to strong performances from their stars.
For the Bucks, Giannis Antetokounmpo put in 27 points, including a tip-in basket with five seconds left, to lock up Milwaukee’s 104-102 win over Boston. John Wall finished with 27 points and 14 assists for the Wizards and led Washington to a 106-98 win over the Raptors on Sunday night. In the third Eastern Conference game, LeBron James had 32 points, 13 rebounds and seven assists while leading the Cavaliers to a 104-100 victory over Indiana.
In Sunday’s lone Western Conference game, the Spurs were able to knock off the defending champion Warriors 103-90 to avoid being swept by Golden State. The Spurs still trail in the series 3-1 and were once again without head coach Gregg Popovich on Sunday following the death of his wife, Erin.
Tonight in a pair of Game 4s, the Houston Rockets will hope to extend their 2-1 series lead over the Minnesota Timberwolves while the Utah Jazz will try to increase their 2-1 series advantage over the Oklahoma City Thunder.
