This Dinner. Take Her to This Dinner.

Freemans chef + pop-up store. Good times.

March 20, 2015 9:00 am EDT

There are many ways to win friends and influence people in this city.

Wit. Charm. Compromising cell-phone photos.

Or your correspondent’s method of choice: excellent taste.

Here to ensure yours is on point: Filigree Suppers, the roving supper club that pairs gourmet dinners with American-made goods, now selling limited tickets for their first NYC event this Sunday.

Hosted at woodsy Williamsburg locavore fave Isa, Filigree is all about showcasing the work of local artisans and chefs in an elegant, laid-back dinner-party setting.

A pop-up within a pop-up, if you will.

First, the food: A special family-style menu from Chef Ginger Pierce of Freemans. Toothsome grub like grilled broccolini in romesco and handmade nettle farfalle punched up with marinated artichokes, lemon butter and parmesan.

Second, the pop-up shop: Hand-carved spoons. Textiles by Amelie Mancini. One-of-a-kind ceramics from Brooklyn’s Stilclay.

Not to mention a backdrop decked with green fauna from Fox Fodder Farms.

Every guest goes home with a little party favor.

All in good taste, of course.
