McDonald’s Finally Has a Walk-Thru Window, All Ye Late-Night Nomads

You know you've tried it

August 1, 2016 9:00 am EDT

Good decisions rarely happen at the end of a night.

That last shot of Jäger, that regrettable 3 A.M. pizza to the face, that near-fisticuffs argument over who knows what … all seemed like good ideas at the time. And so does walking through the McDonald’s drive-thru. Which is why we’ve all tried it — and all been foiled.

Until now.

As reported by The Sun, a McDonald’s in Llandudno, North Wales plans to test a walk-thru window from the hours of 2:30-4:30 A.M. The fast-food chain alerted potential patrons of the new policy via Facebook last week.

Will it prove a success and spread like wildfire all over the globe? Or will some poor schmuck get run over over by a Vauxhall and thereby ruin all our hopes and dreams?

Cross your fingers for the former, people.
