If You Love Video Games So Much, Why Don’t You Sit on One?

Custom arcade sofas for the game room that has everything

August 29, 2017 9:00 am EDT

Unlike obtaining a Mid-Career Masters in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School, the Arcade Sofa is not one of the Arcade Fire’s core member Will Butler’s side projects.

It is however, in our opinion, hot fire.

Handmade in Paris by Harow, the Arcade Sofa was made to commemorate the resurgence of arcade games in the 1990s when titles like Street Fighter II, Mortal Kombat and NBA Jam were introduced.

Possibly the most meta arcade game-playing perch imaginable, the 49″ x 43″ x 59″ couch is constructed from recycled wood, steel legs and velvet cushions, and weighs about 120 pounds.

Available in a variety of styles honoring classic games and everything from SpongeBob to Jurassic Park, the sofas can be customized to order and pricing is available upon request.

Your quarters don’t stand a chance.
