If you very specifically want Apple headphones or earbuds, today is your day. Woot is hosting a few sales on both new and refurbished AirPods, bringing prices down to some of the lowest prices we’ve ever seen.
First up: Apple’s AirPods Max wireless, active noise-cancelling headphones. Available in four colors, these over-ear cans feature “spatial audio for theater-like sound.” The headband canopy is a lightweight, breathable knit mesh, while more mesh wraps the ear cushions, which feature memory foam and attach via magnets. As well, you can adjust the telescoping arms and the anodized aluminum ear cups rotate independently to balance pressure.
These are new, down to $469 — or $80 off — and unlike most Woot deals, this one lasts for two months or until they sell out (figure on the latter so buy ’em before October).
On the other end of the personal audio realm, Woot is offering a one-day sale on the Apple AirPods 2. These earbuds have the wired charging case and they’re Grade A refurbished, which means they’re “inspected and guaranteed to have minimal cosmetic damage, which is not noticeable when the device is held at arm’s length & have successfully passed a full diagnostic test which ensures like-new functionality.
