Is this the Holy Grail of phone chargers?
RIVER, a mobile power station and solar generator that looks like a hefty lunchbox, promises to solve all of your charging issues when you’re on the road this summer.
The battery features 11 independent charging ports you can use simultaneously, enough to power two iPhones, two iPads, two MacBooks, a mini-fridge, a lantern, a drone battery, a mobile WiFi unit and speakers at the same time without any loss of output.
The water-resistant unit holds a charge for a year, is fairly portable (11 lbs. but comes with a handle) and can be fully charged via a standard outlet or car charger in about eight hours or via solar panels in twelve.
Now funded on Indiegogo, RIVER starts at $459, with first orders shipped in June.
