Film will always hold a special place in our hearts, what with the world being taken over by Instagrams, Snapchats and whatever else kids are using these days.
Yet, we love digital as much as the next guy. And the push and pull between the two formats doesn’t have to be a struggle. In fact, they can co-exist.
How? By the power of the new Prynt Pocket — a second-generation instant photo printer that works with most iPhones. Not only does it print photos, it also allows users the ability to add a video inside the photo that can be visible when the picture is viewed with Prynt Pocket’s companion app.

We’ve got no clue how it works (and Prynt is fairly mum on details), but the proof is in the photo.
“It’s the best of both worlds,” Prynt CEO Clément Perrot told CNNTech. “You get something that is tangible, unique … but you also have a sense of the context of what happened at that time.”
If Augmented Reality isn’t your thing, the little gadget also works as a standard Polaroid-style printer when it’s paired with your phone and, at $150, it’s more affordable than some other, albeit nicer, options.
Either way, you may not be shaking any pictures, but at least you can still watch ’em move.
