When Apple releases a new version of one of its many i-whatevers, it’s pretty damn exciting. There’s a whole fancy keynote event where engineers in turtlenecks show us consumers all the colors and cameras they’ve added to better versions of things we own. But what’s even more exciting about new releases is that all those old versions of perfectly fine working products go on sale.
