After previously appearing as a pop-up in locations like Hollywood and Orlando, the fictional burger joint Mooby’s that appeared in Kevin Smith films such as Dogma, Clerks II and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back is getting ready to take center stage in real life in Austin.

Opening for pickup and dine-in from May 5 to May 10 with preorders already available, Mooby’s will be keeping Austin weird with a menu offering the Cow Tipper burger (also available in a vegan version), a chicken sandwich and Polish-style vegan sausage along with sides like onion rings and tater tots as well as chocolate-covered pretzels for dessert. Cocktails, as well as Mooby’s Brand Beer, are also available.

Though all the options are popular, the Cow Tipper (a pair of three-ounce beef patties, two slices of American cheese, a dousing of of “Mooby’s Sauce,” three crinkle-cut kosher dill pickle chips, some chopped red onions and yellow mustard served on a Martin’s potato roll) is the favorite.

Tickets to grab some Mooby’s grub, which includes a selection of a main and a side, start at $29, with extras like booze and sweets coming at an extra cost. For fans of Smith’s films, a substantial amount of merch will also be available on-site as well as online.

First-come, first-serve reservations for the pop-up event are available here.
