On the outskirts of Madrid, Justo Gallego has spent the last 53 years building a cathedral. He has done this by hand, with no formal training and virtually no assistance. While his cathedral will almost certainly not be finished in his lifetime, his progress already is almost unimaginable: an extraordinary display of the power of unwavering dedication and one of the great works of faith ever constructed.
