We’re big fans of Floyd, the direct-to-consumer furniture brand that makes long-lasting, modular furniture you can order by mail and put together in a few minutes.
That last part is important because we’re also big fans of sitting on our butts and watching TV. So we’re thrilled Floyd just intro’d their new Media Console.
It’s a 59.2″ wide, 24″ high unit made from Birch plywood supports and powder-coated American steel shelves. Inside, it features magnetic cord management and media device shelving (the shelves can hold up to 65 lbs.) Available in six color combinations, you have the option of adding on one or two push-to-open, soft-close side cabinets.
Because of its modular nature, you can also hook up the console to Floyd’s larger shelving system, or work with it on its own.
The Media Console has a 30-day free return policy and comes with a 10-year warranty. At launch it’s going for $645 with free shipping; the company suggests it would be closer to $1000 if you bought it through traditional retail.
We've put in the work researching, reviewing and rounding up all the shirts, jackets, shoes and accessories you'll need this season, whether it's for yourself or for gifting purposes. Sign up here for weekly style inspo direct to your inbox.
