In the middle of the winter, when President Trump is shivering near the fireplace at Camp David, kick back and relax at your own white-sand version in St. Barth’s.
The Caribbean island’s Camp David is nothing like the wooded D.C. retreat. An 12-bedroom private villa, it’s situated on over two acres of verdant tropical land at the quiet tip of St. Jean’s Beach. With accommodations for 22, the villa is separated into number of different sections. The property’s main house includes a living room, kitchen, guest bedroom, and a pair of powder rooms on the first floor; an oversized master suite, with his-and-hers ensuite baths, takes up the second. It also includes its own private sitting area and deck with poolside and sea views.
Other onsite amenities include two heated swimming pools (the larger of which is surrounded by a tropical garden); a separate, fully equipped office (if you have to, at any time, contact your “cabinet”); private tennis court; and an air-conditioned gym (which also includes a steam room, bath, and small meditation area).
The property is also situated right on the beach, and a short walk away from the boutiques and bistros of St. Jean’s Beach.
For the upcoming holiday season, Camp David can be rented for $402,500 per week (for a minimum of two weeks). If you want to visit the compound at any other time during the year, its high-season rate is $172,500 per week and low-season, $115,000 per week.
