The Highest-Paid Players at Every Position in the NFL … So Far
He's not the best quarterback in the league, but Kirk Cousins is the highest-paid passer.

The fully guaranteed, three-year deal former Redskin Kirk Cousins signed with the Minnesota Vikings got all the headlines, but it was not the only big contract of the NFL offseason.
Far from it.
At $28 million, Kirk Cousins’ average annual salary makes him the highest-paid player at his position, but he was not the only NFL player to set a new benchmark for his position this year.
With an annual average salary of $15.5 million, Nate Solder is now the highest-paid left tackle in the league while Jimmy Graham, who now has a deal that pays him $10 million annually, is the league’s best-paid tight end.
But not for long.
As Bill Barnwell details, the salaries of Cousins, Solder and Graham will likely soon be overtaken by the amounts that Aaron Rodgers, Taylor Lewan and Rob Gronkowski, respectively, will collect.
“It’s crazy to think that Cousins just made it to the top of the quarterback leaderboard, but by the end of the offseason, he might not even be No. 1,” Barnwell writes.
