British actress Eunice Gayson, who exercised her license to take movie-goers’ breaths as the first-ever Bond Girl, died Friday, according to Deadline. She was 90.

Grayson is best known for playing Sylvia Trench in Dr. No and then reprising the role in From Russia With Love, but she had a 60-year career that spanned stage and screen. Among her many credits: stints on the TV shows, The Saint and The Avengers.

“We are so sad to learn that Eunice Gayson, our very first ‘Bond girl’ who played Sylvia Trench in Dr. No and From Russia With Love has passed away. Our sincere thoughts are with her family,” James Bond movie producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli said in a statement.
