Footage of a Star Wars television series that was developed in 2005 and then put on hold in 2010 due to financial concerns has leaked.

The show — which would have featured characters including Darth Vader, Han Solo, Boba‌ ‌Fett,‌ ‌Saw‌ ‌Gerrera,‌ ‌Lando‌ ‌Calrissian,‌ ‌Chewbacca and Palpatine — does not look out of this world.

‌Leaked online, Star‌ ‌Wars‌: Underworld‌‌ is “set‌ ‌in‌ ‌the‌ ‌underworld‌ ‌of‌ ‌the‌ ‌‌Star‌ ‌Wars‌‌ ‌universe,” according to a description of the show.

“[Star‌ ‌Wars‌: ‌Underworld‌‌] ‌explores‌ ‌the‌ ‌seedy,‌ ‌dark‌ ‌side‌ ‌of‌ ‌the‌ ‌galaxy‌ ‌and‌ ‌the‌ ‌characters‌ ‌who‌ ‌inhabit‌ ‌it.‌ ‌Particularly,‌ ‌it‌ ‌begins‌ ‌with‌ ‌a‌ ‌focus‌ ‌on‌ ‌the‌ ‌criminals‌ ‌in‌ ‌the‌ ‌Coruscant‌ ‌underworld,‌ ‌seen‌ ‌in‌ the ‌Clone‌ ‌Wars‌animated‌ ‌series,” the description continues. “The‌ ‌series‌ ‌eventually‌ ‌expands‌ ‌outward‌ ‌to‌ ‌cover‌ ‌other‌ ‌parts‌ ‌of‌ ‌the‌ ‌galaxy,‌ ‌possibly‌ ‌in‌ ‌several‌ ‌spin-off‌ ‌series.”

Produced by Stargate Studios, the same studio that has worked on shows including Doctor Who, The Walking Dead and The Orville, the show takes place between‌ ‌‌Revenge‌ ‌of‌ ‌the‌ ‌Sith‌‌ ‌and‌ ‌A‌ ‌New‌ ‌Hope‌ and, had it been aired, would have shown Lando‌ ‌losing‌ ‌the‌ ‌‌Millennium‌ ‌Falcon‌ ‌‌to‌ ‌Han‌ ‌Solo‌ ‌as well as ‌Chewbacca meeting Han‌ for the first time.
