Led Zeppelin launched the first installment of its new video series, History Of Led Zeppelin, as part of the band’s ongoing celebration of their 50th anniversary.

The first episode of the series highlights bandmates Jimmy Page, John Bonham, John Paul Jones and Robert Plant as they go from their early days as a late-stage iteration of Page’s former band, The Yardbirds, to, arguably, one of the greatest rock bands the world has ever known — Led Zeppelin.

According to JamBase, the first video also focuses on the band’s recording of their debut album, Led Zeppelin I, and incorporates quotes from each member about how they came to be.
