Will Smith turned 50 yesterday, and to celebrate he jumped out of a helicopter hovering over the Grand Canyon. The helibungee, defined as a bungee jump out of a helicopter, was the result of a challenge to the actor from the YouTube channel Yes Theory. Smith accepted and recommended the Grand Canyon as a jumping location.

“This is some of the most beautiful stuff I’ve ever seen in my life!” the movie star yelled after the jump, suspended by the bungee cord over the great American landscape. Smith’s family watched from below along with his Fresh Prince of Bel-Air co-star Alfonso Ribeiro. The stunt raised money for Global Citizen’s education charity efforts.
