Town & Country takes us inside the world of Trumpettes USA, a group of mostly wealthy women who gathered at Mar-a-Lago last Thursday to praise Trump. Eric Trump attended and spoke at the 800-person event, dubbed “A Red, White & Blue Celebration for We The People,” which functioned more as a moneymaker for Mar-a-Lago than anything else. Toni Holt Kramer, the group’s founder, organized the event after charities canceled galas en masse at Mar-a-Lago in response to Trump’s “both sides” remarks regarding the white supremacist violence in Charlottesville. The mission of Trumpettes USA, according to Kramer, is not to fundraise but to network and generate enthusiasm.
