A new profile in Town & Country checks in with Sarah Paulson, the character actress who has become among Hollywood’s most reliable standouts. Most famous for her TV anthology work in both American Horror Story and American Crime Story: The People Vs. OJ Simpson, Paulson has also been celebrated in the theaters, in supporting roles in Oscar winner 12 Years a Slave and this year’s Oscar-hopeful The Post. “When the director says ‘action,’ she drops herself into an emotional moment instantaneously. It’s like science fiction,” American Crime Story co-creator Scott Alexander told Town & Country. Up next for the industrious Paulson is Ocean’s Eight, the title role in Netflix’s One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest-spinoff Ratched, and M. Night Shyamalan’s next movie Glass.
