With public hearings in the House of Representatives scheduled for later this week, impeachment is on a lot people’s minds, and as CNN reports, Rudy Giuliani is considering launching his own podcast to provide his analysis of the proceedings.
Giuliani was overheard at lunch at New York City’s Sant Ambroeus restaurant on Saturday (Nov. 9) discussing his plans for the podcast — including dates for recording and ideas for a logo — by two people who recorded the conversation and gave it to CNN. Giuliani said at the lunch that he hoped to have four or five episodes “to analyze the impeachment in every aspect.”
“Many Americans want to hear directly from Rudy Giuliani,” his spokeswoman Christianné Allen told CNN, confirming his plans for the podcast. “He is considering several options, in consultation with Jay Sekulow and the legal team, regarding the best way to move forward. As of now, they have not decided on the strategy but are getting very close.”
Giuliani, who plans to use the podcast to tell his side of the story, also reportedly has two op-eds for major newspapers in the works, the first of which will explain why Trump is “unimpeachable” and the second outlining his defense of Trump.
