When the NFL’s Twitter account broke the news that league commissioner Roger Goodell had died at the age of 57, it didn’t take long for the internet to realize the account had been hacked.
However, even after NFL PR guru Brian McCarthy corrected the report — and the still-hacked NFL account saluted everyone on their amateur detective work — people kept ripping the commish.
Since he is, in fact, alive and well, we thought we’d share some of the best mockeries of his death.
Classic pandering Goodell. Death is so in right now so of course he fake dies to get people to like him.

I can’t wait until the next Ted Wells report indicates that Goodell is dead and Goodell has to deny it in a press conference.

Hope Goodell doesn’t check Twitter today. There’s knowing the world dislikes you then there’s seeing everyone seriously mad you’re not dead.
