President Trump’s hand-drawn and signed sketch of the New York City skyline, featuring Trump Tower at its center, was sold for $29,184 to an anonymous bidder at an auction house in Los Angeles, according to the Huffington Post.
RealClearLife reported two days ago that Nate D. Sanders auctions was accepting bids for the piece, originally drawn by the president in 2005 for mailing company Pitney Bowes’ “Pushing the Envelope” child literacy campaign, starting at $9,000.
In total, 11 bids were placed on the sketch, which was described as “very rare” and in “near fine condition.”
