Twenty-four-year-old photographer Daniel Barreto likes to experiment with light. In his video, entitled “Ignite,” abstract light-shapes dance within the frame like ghosts. Surprisingly, the film features neither animation nor digital manipulation; each frame is actually a long-exposure photo, hundreds of which were taken to produce the film.
