Former top Trump aide Omarosa Manigault-Newman doubled-down on comments Wednesday night that President Trump’s use of Twitter “haunted” her during her tenure at the White House.

“He announced major policy issues on Twitter. The transgender ban, for instance, was announced on Twitter,” the reality star told Colbert. “That’s not a place you want to find out at 5:00 in the morning about something that would impact so many people’s lives.”

Omarosa initially made disparaging comments about the president during a stint on CBS’ Celebrity Big Brother, in which she told fellow cast members that leaving the White House felt like “I just got freed off a plantation” and that she’s worried “it’s not going to be OK.”

On the latter comment, Omarosa said: “That was part of a bigger discussion, we were talking about immigration, and round-ups…I believe that the immigration will debate will continue, and its a very difficult and complicated subject.”

A few minutes after the interview aired, fellow cast member Ross Mathews disputed Omarosa’s side of the story on Twitter, and suggested that the full footage be released for context. Take a look at the clip below.
