The Only North American You Can Trust With Your McLaren F1

Kevin Hines is North America’s only McLaren F1 technician. Working out of a warehouse in the West Chester suburb of Philadelphia, Hines has dedicated the last year of his life to working on the most revered of McLaren automobiles, according to Road & Track. Before Hines’ training, McLaren would either have to send a mechanic to North America to work on an in-need F1 or ship the car across the Atlantic Ocean. F1s, which can famously run up to 231 miles per hour, require regular servicing. During his technician training, Hines was able to drive his beloved F1 on a closed course. He told Road & Track, “I could’ve spent the rest of my life driving that car out there.”
