Michael Moore took to Twitter Wednesday to tease an upcoming project with a 1998 clip from Roseanne Barr’s short-lived, syndicated talk show, according to a story on The Wrap.
The clip shows Roseanne introducing Moore as her “blue-collar panelist” and referencing his first movie Roger & Me, in which Moore repeatedly tried to confront the then-CEO of General Motors, Roger Smith. Coincidentally, the clip shows Moore sitting next to Donald Trump, who adds, “I hope he never does one on me,” in reference to Moore’s intrepid documentary style.
“I know Roseanne. And I know Trump. And they are about to rue the day they knew me…” read Moore’s tweet that accompanied the clip. What exactly this secret project is still remains unclear, though at one point last year Moore was working on a film about Trump’s election.
