In the past month or so, Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban has dropped numerous hints that he’s interested in running for president.
During an appearance on Fox in April, the billionaire said he wasn’t considering the idea in March but “now things are changing rapidly and dramatically.”
“I’m just keeping the door open,” Cuban said. “You just don’t know what can happen between now and November.”

Then, this week, Cuban said he still hadn’t closed the door on a potential run at the White House.
“It was closed, but we have such crazy times and I’ve been getting so many requests that I at least want to keep the door open but it’s still highly unlikely,” Cuban said.
According to one of his Shark Tank co-stars, Cuban making a run at the presidency isn’t just unlikely, it’s impossible — because his wife Tiffany Stewart won’t let him.
During a conversation with the NYRAC real estate association, Barbara Corcoran said Stewart would never allow her husband to run for president, according to The New York Post.
“I’ll tell you who I do believe, [Cuban’s] wife [Tiffany Stewart],” Corcoran said. “When I went to his 60th birthday about six months ago in Dallas, the person I most wanted to see was Mark’s wife and I said to her, ‘Are you going to let Mark run for president?’ and she said, ‘Absolutely not!’ And I believe her. And that’s what I think the real answer is.”
Until Cuban does something other than talking about a run, we agree.
