Kim Kardashian’s interest in the criminal justice system isn’t going anywhere: After helping get Alice Johnson released from prison, Kardashian says she is working with the White House to free another convicted felon, reports Page Six.

In an appearance on Jason Flom’s Wrongful Convictions podcast, Kardashian says she has been speaking with Chris Young, who was sentenced to life in prison for marijuana and cocaine possession after being arrested in 2010.

“Yesterday, I had a call with a gentleman that’s in prison for a drug case — got life. It’s so unfair. He’s 30 years old. He’s been in for almost 10 years,” she said, according to Page Six. She said Young was sentenced to life without parole, for possession of marijuana and half a gram of cocaine, because of mandatory-sentencing regulations.

Kardashian also said she spoke to former Tennessee Judge Kevin Sharp, who resigned because the law forced him to hand out such a harsh sentence.

“I was on the phone with the judge that sentenced him to life,” said Kardashian, who also said she talks regularly with President Trump son-in-law and aid, Jared Kushner, “who resigned because he had never been on the side of having to do something so unfair, and now he is fighting [alongside] us to get [Young] out.”
