Jamie Foxx and Joseph Gordon-Levitt will co-star in a Netflix sci-fi movie, the plot of which the streaming giant is keeping under wraps for the moment. Netflix has focused much of its attention over the last year on sci-fi projects, leading the studio to a place of legitimacy that can attract stars like Foxx and Gordon-Levitt.

The director pair of Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman, who made two of the entries in the Paranormal Activity franchise, will be behind the camera, working with a Mattson Tomlin screenplay.

Production company Screen Arcade will shepherd the as-yet untitled project into the world. Co-founders Eric Newman and Bryan Unkeless both have recent successes under their belt, as Newman executive produces Netflix’s Narcos and Unkeless helped helm last year’s I, Tonya.
