The FAA is reportedly investigating an incident in which a plane piloted by Harrison Ford at the Hawthorne Airport in Los Angeles accidentally crossed a runway where another plane was landing on April 24.

A representative for the 77-year-old actor told CNN that he crossed the runway after mishearing a radio instruction, but he quickly realized his mistake.

“Mr. Ford crossed the airport’s only runway in his aircraft after he misheard a radio instruction from ATC. He immediately acknowledged the mistake and apologized to ATC for the error,” the spokesperson for Ford said in a statement on Wednesday. “The purpose of the flight was to maintain currency and proficiency in the aircraft. No one was injured and there was never any danger of a collision.”

The FAA told CNN that the two planes were about 3,600 feet apart at the time, and they confirmed they’re looking into what exactly happened.

“The FAA is investigating an incident in which the pilot of an Aviat Husky taxied across the runway at Hawthorne Municipal Airport Friday afternoon while another aircraft was performing a touch-and-go landing,” an FAA spokesperson told the network.

This is not the first time Ford has been in the news for his aviational mishaps. In 2015, he was hospitalized after making a forced landing on a golf course due to engine failure, and in 2017 he mistakenly landed on the taxiway of an airport in Santa Ana. He also had to make an emergency landing in a riverbed in 1999 while piloting a helicopter.

Despite appearances, Han Solo he is not.
